Target announced today that it will increase its minimum wage to $11 per hour beginning in October. Target’s current minimum wage is $10. In addition, Target offered a “commitment” to increase the minimum wage for its employees to $15 by the end of the year 2020, though it offered no specifics on when further increases would happen.
The increase to $11 per hour will include the 100,000 seasonal workers Target plans to hire in the coming months.
